Our aim & ethos
To evoke and develop the innate learning and growth potential in women and children living in challenging social and economic conditions that would be difficult for us to imagine, most without the certainty of food the next day, living in constant fear of being abducted, raped, or sold for labor so the rest of the family can make their ends meet.
We cannot change all this in a few months or years, but we are trying to make a difference by creating opportunities for basic education, skills development and personal health and hygiene.
The aim is to take the first important steps towards bridging the wide disparities in opportunity between the socio-economically privileged and the underprivileged to whatever extent possible.
